Community Overview

High Valley Ranch is a 28-acre planned community featuring 37 estate and cottage homes in Midway, near Park City, Utah. Midway is a picturesque country village set along the Wasatch Mountain Range in rural Heber Valley, about an hour from Salt Lake City and 30 minutes from Provo/Orem. Midway's elevation is 5,667 feet with a population of over 2,600 in 2004. Midway hosted the biathlon venue for the 2002 Winter Olympics at Soldier Hollow, less than two miles from High Valley Ranch.

The community of Midway was first settled by Swiss immigrants in the 1850s and maintains its Swiss heritage in the architecture, customs and community events, such as the annual Swiss Days Festival, drawing people from throughout the Western States. It is home to the historic Homestead Golf Resort and the new Dolce-operated Zermatt 5-star Convention Center. The local Heber Airport services private jets and offers some of the best sailplaning in the Rocky Mountains.

Midway is proximate to the 21,500-acre Wasatch State Park which features two 36-hole golf courses and hundreds of miles of horse and snowmobile trails. The park is adjacent to National Forest land and millions of unspoiled acres including spectacular Mount Timpanogos Wilderness Preserve, where famous Sundance Ski Resort is located. Every High Valley Ranch home will have an unobstructed, panoramic view of Mount Timpanogos across fenced green pastures.

Along with modern equestrian amenities, as outlined in the Equestrian Center page, a spacious community clubhouse is the gathering place for residents to swim, entertain and socialize. All common areas will be landscaped by the developer and maintained by the Homeowners Association (HOA), and includes snow removal, road repair, exterior painting, and lawn maintenance.
